I grew up in India and came to Germany to study where I have now lived and worked in Germany for 35 years. I completed my studies and my PhD in Psychology at the University of Heidelberg.

My therapy training in Clinical Hypnosis and in Systemic Family Therapy have given me the methodology and tools for my role as a counsellor, along with the my training in Psychoimaginative Trauma Therapy. I am a trained Mediator.

I have worked for over 20 years in the Psychological Counselling Centre, Caritas Heidelberg and have teaching experience at the University and the Teachers Training College (Pädagogische Hochschule). I enjoy giving lectures and training programmes on topics related to children and their growth, especially on building resilience, understanding challenging behaviour and finding a means to reconnect to children and adolescents.
